Sarcasm in Japan

Another category opens! Quick, someone blow a trumpet or something! Japanorama. It’s a bit of a wierd category isn’t it. Bit then, Japan to the uninitiated is a bit wierd. One day, I’ll go there myself to see first hand just how wierd it is (and when I say wierd, I mean it in a good way). Until then, I’ll quench my thirst for Japanorama (and for some reason, it’s pretty unquenchable at the moment) by trawling the net looking for sites that celebrate it. The first site I’d like to bring your attention to is An Englishman in Osaka, a brilliantly sarcastic, yet enlightning blog about one englishman’s discoveries while in Osaka. This post especially tickled me.
