Switzerland Twitter Updates
Throughout my trip to Switzerland, I was sending updates from my mobile phone to Twitter. These updates were collated each day into a single post. For the purposes of clarity, I’ve now deleted these individual posts and have created this single post for the whole trip.
13th October 2007
- Off to Switzerland tomorrow. Updates all week. #

- On way by train to the airport in a moment. #
- If sparrows can fly, i don’t see why humans can’t. #
- Landed at Basel. Flight was awesome. #
- Watching world cup on french tv in basel. #
15th October 2007
- Slept well. Chilly this morning. On tram to train station. #
- The bears of bern. Big, fat & lazy. #
- Arrived at Lauterbrunnen. Hotel is lovely. #
16th October 2007
- At the highest train station in europe. 11000ft. Freezing! #
- Well tired! Suppose that’s what high altitude does to you. #
17th October 2007
- Coming down in the cablecar made me almost totally deaf. #
18th October 2007
- Off to lucern today. #
- I’m on the famous goldenpass panoramic and it’s just started to sleet! #
