Cycling Through Paris
It’s been a while since my wicked-awesome weekend in Paris. Since then, not a whole lot has happened. Well… I managed to hand in my end of year project on time and I passed my driving test on the first attempt, but other than that, nothing worth mentioning. I’m currently taking advantage of the scheduled rest week between the project cut-off date and the last assignment of the year. This weekend, I’m popping down to London to see the first stage of the Tour of Britain. Not really on the same scale of the Tour de France, but by all accounts, growing in stature and worth a look. Naturally, photos and videos will follow. Until then, enjoy this video I uploaded some weeks ago to Vimeo, compiling a series of scenes shot while cycling around in Paris to the sound of the Flight of the Conchords.
If you think this looks fun (because it was), take a look at the Fat Tire Bike Tours website, which details the excellent all-encompassing tour routes and the very reasonable prices. I cannot emphasise enough how good these tours are. If you like meeting new people, cycling around on comfortable bikes, eating delicious ice cream and baguettes, drinking wine and chugging around on boats, you’ll love Fat Tire, as all of these elements are covered.
