Hello! I’m Matt, I’m 31, I’m based in London and I’m here to share my global adventures with you! I’m someone who will try anything once, particularly if there’s an opportunity to take some photos, shoot some video and write about it. The more dangerous and weirder the better, right?!
I’ve appeared in various media, including on BBC World Service, BBC One and BBC News.
The places I’ve visited (in gloriously precise alphabetical order) are: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Qatar, Scotland, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain & Wales.
I currently have plans to visit: Austria, Norway & Slovakia.
You can find me on Twitter, where I try to keep my tweets travel-themed, but where I invariably stray into complaining about the TV programme I happen to be watching. Feel free to send me a tweet!
About Here To Geneva
Here To Geneva was born in April 2007 as I prepared to visit Switzerland for the first time. It was my intention to fly into Geneva, tour the country by train and document my experiences with an aim of publishing them online. After a few days of thought, the name ‘Here To Geneva’ came to me. I quickly snapped up the web address and set everything up.
A few days after that, I changed my mind and decided to fly into EuroAirport (Basel) instead. It was too late to change the name of the site, so I stuck with it despite its slight inaccuracy.
Now, Here To Geneva is where I document ALL my travels. I focus on short, snappy and sharable travel content with a focus on food, tourist attractions, adventurous pursuits, beautiful vistas, nature and city life. My focus is on creating content people love, taking awesome photos that people want to share with their friends and providing snapshots of what it’s like being in the places that I’ve visited.
