We love to eat, drink & travel. We love exploring big cities as much as we love beautiful natural landscapes. We’re drawn towards street food vendors, markets, independent cafes and tea rooms, unusual and weird events and twinkly lights. We’re not really into museums and art galleries. We prefer finding out as much as we can about a place by seeing, listening, tasting and feeling our way around. We always try to make sure our adventures are environmentally friendly, sustainable and ethical.

As Editor-in-Chief, Matt is the face of Here To Geneva. He’s happiest when getting lost in a weird place, with a weird snack or drink in one hand and Jade’s hand in the other. You might have seen Matt on BBC TV or heard him on the radio.

A Very Brief History
Here To Geneva was born in April 2007 as our editor, Matt Morelli, prepared to visit Switzerland for the first time. It was his intention to fly into Geneva, tour the country by train and document his experiences with an aim of publishing them online. After a few days of thought, the name ‘Here To Geneva’ came to him and he quickly snapped up the web address and set everything up.
A few days after that, Matt changed his mind and decided to fly into Basel instead, over 250km away. It was too late to change the name of the site, so he was stuck with it. Since returning from Switzerland, Matt has continued to document all of his travels on Here To Geneva.
In 2014, Matt met Jade and together, they are working to build Here To Geneva into a food & travel website that people love and trust.
